Why Kiba Built?
KIBA Built creates new homes across Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast and greater South East Queensland. We build on your land, in new estates, on acreage and as part of a knockdown rebuild.

Building was a dream long before it was a business.
Before establishing KIBA in 2018, we had already built three homes of our own. Brett is a qualified carpenter and third-generation builder, while Kirsty brings a love of home design, styling and selections.
Our experience spans renovations, extensions, insurance repairs and new builds. Today, our focus is clear: building brand-new homes from the ground up.
We're not focused on being the biggest builder or building the most homes. We deliberately limit our build numbers so we can stay close to every project and focus on what we love: good design, the craft of building and creating homes we're genuinely proud of.
Keeping You in the Loop
Kiba offers a dedicated customer portal to keep you informed about your build
Through this portal, we upload photos and updates at least once a week, so you’re always in the loop. You’ll be notified about upcoming plans and recent activities on your build site.
The portal is user-friendly and includes a start-up tour to help you get acquainted. You can access it via desktop or on the app from your smart device, making it as easy to use as social media. Additionally, you can view all documents related to your build, including plans and certificates, and keep track of your invoices. The portal also allows you to leave comments or questions for us.
Where We Build
We are continually working to expand our service areas. If your suburb isn’t on our current list, it might be in the future, so stay tuned for updates!
We build new homes across:
- The Sunshine Coast
- Metro Brisbane
- Greater Brisbane and Moreton Bay, including the northern corridor through to D’Aguilar
- Brisbane’s southern growth corridors, including Logan and Flagstone
We build in established suburbs for knockdown rebuilds, within new master-planned communities and on acreage properties.
Our core building areas are centred around where our trusted trades and suppliers are established, helping us maintain the quality and consistency we expect across every build.
Not Sure if We Build in Your Area?
Just ask us! We consider some locations individually, depending on the block and the home you’re looking to build.
Please note that we currently don’t build on the Gold Coast, in the Scenic Rim, Toowoomba or the Darling Downs, or north of the Sunshine Coast.
Our Tree Planting Initiative
At Kiba, we believe in making a positive impact beyond just building homes.
In late 2024 we made a pledge to plant 15 trees for every new home contract we sign. To date, we have over 400 trees growing as part of this initiative! In partnership with Fifteen Trees, we focus on planting suitable native trees in our local areas that need them, contributing to the restoration of our unique landscapes.
